Recently I’ve been enjoying walking in nature, there is serenity and joy that I feel from my heart and being when I do this. I’m connected to mother earth and nature, my breath is one with the universe. Then I stumble on this book Buddha Mind and Buddha Body by Thich Nhat Hanh which happens to be about walking in mindfulness. I just started reading it and it resonated to me why I love walking and thinking of peace and love to all beings. The things that I just naturally do like talking with my Mom who passed away four years ago and feel her spirit with me are actually what he was talking about.
Mindfully walking with people any one who you want to have conversations with or connection. You can be with the presence of Buddha, Jesus or whoever is in your consciousness. Being aware of this perception it became my intention to call on my nieces and nephews who are suffering with their own family problems. When I got home after an hour walk, I received an email from my niece who had her father passed away last four months ago, and we started sending notes to each other. This is the beauty of peace, when you are at peace the world hears you and create miracles in your external reality. Everything is a mirror of your self.
My boyfriend asks me is mind and consciousness the same? I answered him that mind is born from consciousness. The body and what we see is what our consciousness is, meaning if the filter is love then we will attract and create love. The negative drama that surrounds us will not be able to get a rouse out of us because we are the stillness in the midst of of troubled water. Just like a river of consciousness, as Krishnamurti had spoken we are all in this river. This river of consciousness is comprised of our beliefs, thoughts, religions, sufferings, pain, death, relationships, addictions, victims, emotions, fear, love and all the rest of what we experience from being human. As long as we see the other person as different there is the separation or duality in us, we remain in this river of consciousness.
The wisdom is to know that we are this river and yet we are also the observer or the witness to this consciousness. When we flow with the stream, we don’t feed the ego and become one with others. The beautiful mantra that stays with me is this “and now as long as space endures and as long as there are beings to be found. May I continue likewise to remain to drive away sorrows of this world.” My passion is to help others alleviate sufferings and to help them find clarity that this is their own creation once you get clear on what is real and what is manifestations or fixations of your mind. You will find some light on this matter. When I learn DETACHMENT from this river and become the observer of this play, I become one with my existence.
The pain is what drove us to this liberation, and the freedom from these sufferings. When you become aware of your created fears, voices in your head, soon you will find yourself embarking on this journey. The path of least resistance and freedom. Your heart is the compass, feel your emotions and listen to your heart. The mind is tricky, meditate and be one with your spirit. Release the talking in your head and say farewell my dual self.
When I had an out of body experience, and ask myself who is the observer when I can see my body from this observer then the mind is not in this body but the consciousness is what I am. My body is the result of this consciousness and the impermanence of this lifetime is the effect of this illusion. Wake up on your walk and bring the present moment here, release the thoughts that are in your head and see them as thoughts and not identify your TRUE SELF with all of these. The existence of humanity will soon become one with this river of consciousness when we bring this awareness to others. We will see the rippling effect of love and life in our new earth, if we walk mindfully sending love and healing to all sentient beings.
